Just the other day…there was an apartment building fire in our neighborhood. Passing the cleanup efforts, I saw this on the inside wall of an open dumpster.

Amazing what people see in these abstracts. I see, on the left, a castle sitting on a high rocky promontory with waves from the ocean slashing and bashing the rocks. Also, I see thin layers of clouds drifting by, lower than the height of the castle tower.
Wes sees the Acropolis at the right side – which I didn’t pay any attention to until he mentioned it in the TME forum!
But now, looking closer, in the lower left corner of the paint splash, I see the side wall of a church with long narrow windows, plus its roof.
A metaphor about how a tiny blip our live is in the context of the whole world. Yet, seen from close, the blip (or splotch) is incredibly complex and rich.
